The anti-UV hat from LÄSSIG, made of ( recycled ) polyester, and reversible , is perfect for summer days with its fancy prints.

With a UV protection index of 80 , it protects the sensitive heads of children in summer; it goes perfectly with the anti-UV swimwear from the Splash & Fun collection from LÄSSIG.

The hat protects little ones' heads, eyes and neck from the sun.

It is reversible, it can be worn on both sides, simply remove the sewn label .

It adapts to all outfits and offers the choice between cheerful or plain patterns.

To avoid losing the hat because of the wind, or when the child is playing, you can tie it under the chin.

It is pleasant to wear in or out of the water, thanks to its light, breathable material that dries easily.

Back home, the hat can be washed at 30°C (delicates program).

Indications for proper use:
In case of prolonged exposure, UV rays can cause burns and skin lesions. This anti-UV hat only protects the covered part; other parts of the body exposed to natural UV radiation should be protected by another means, for example by applying sunscreen or wearing other anti-UV clothing. Please note, this hat does not offer any protection against reverberation or dispersion of ultraviolet radiation. The effective duration of protection of anti-UV clothing depends on the texture of the child's skin and the intensity of solar radiation. The UV protection shown may be reduced due to normal wear and tear, damage and seam damage. If the anti-UV hat is damaged or worn, please change it or have it repaired professionally. The lifespan of anti-UV clothing is 6 years from the date of manufacture, even if there are no visible defects. The label sewn onto the garment details the composition, care instructions, size, date of manufacture and UV protection index. Please keep the item dry and away from light. Wash after each contact with salt and/or chlorinated water. This is anti-UV clothing (PPE category I) corresponding to the basic health protection and safety requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/425, Annex II. The protective clothing meets the requirements of EN ISO 13688:2013, Protective clothing - General requirements. The product has been certified according to UV 801 (based on AS/NZS 4399:2017).

Recycled material

Each LÄSSIG hat is made from plastic reused to make yarn. The part of recycled material corresponds to 2 PET bottles.

This calculation is based on the average weight of 17.2 g per PET bottle.
